Bright Line is joining forces with Summa Financial to become Bright Line Financial Services, effective November 1, 2025.
Both firms share the same approach to proactive support, modern technology, and long term client relationships. Together, we are building a stronger team with more expertise, more tools, and more resources to support you as your business grows.
What this means for Bright Line Clients:
Right now, nothing about your day-to-day experience changes.
You will continue working with the same team and receiving the same support for now. As our merger progresses over the next few months, we will let you know if there are any changes to your Bright Line team.
Your current systems, tools, and ways of communicating with us will stay the same for now. If any updates are needed, we will communicate them clearly before anything changes.
You’ll receive additional expertise and resources as we grow together
What this means for Summa Financial Clients:
These parts of your experience stay exactly the same right now. You do not need to take any action. Everything continues as normal.
You will continue working with the same Summa team members you already know for now.
You will continue to send your information the same way you currently do.
Your monthly services will continue without any changes until January, 2026.
Your current systems and software will stay the same for now, but will be changing in the January, 2026.

We will share updates along the way and make everything simple and clear. When it is time to adopt any new systems, training and support will be provided.
What will change for Summa Financials
Clients:
Changes will begin in January 2026 but be delivered with plenty of notice.
You will gain access to more resources, expertise, and tools
You will in time move to Bright Line’s client portal, Karbon
You will meet additional team members as our teams integrate
You will have the option to add expanded advisory, reporting, and support services
Email addresses will move to the Bright Line domain toward the end of November, 2025
Billing and invoicing systems will be updated in 2026
All updates will be communicated clearly before anything changes. Training and support will be provided for every new system.

Do I need to do anything right now?
No action is needed. We will guide you through any future steps.
Will my services change?
You will continue receiving the same services. Over time, you will have access to more options and support if you choose.
Will my pricing change?
Pricing remains the same for now. Pricing updates will be discussed in advance.
Will my main contact change?
No. You will continue working with your same team. As the firms integrate, you will meet additional team members.
Will the software I use change?
All clients will continue using the same accounting tech stack for now, with the option to update software later on. All clients will also be introduced to Karbon as their client portal and communication tool by January 5, 2026.
